World War 3 is a free-to-play tactical shooter game developed by The Farm 51. In this action game, you will team up with other players to outgun and outflank the enemy in thrilling skirmishes. The battles will take you across real-world locations.

World War 3 is the successor to the Battlefield franchise. With this, expect similarities in settings, guns, maps, and gameplay. However, it offers tons of customization options, including a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare-esque gunsmith. Speaking of Call of Duty, this game's gunplay is more realistic than Call of Duty. 

What can you expect from this game?

World War 3 is an online multiplayer first-person shooter game set against a backdrop of global conflict. As mentioned, it pits two teams against each other in tactical skirmishes waged across real-world locations. You will use a large arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and gadgets to battle through different maps. You can play in fast-paced skirmishes in Tactical Ops or 20v20 or race for the highest kill count in Team Deathmatch, which is 10v10.

There is not much about the gameplay, whether gear or the environment. However, it does have more realistic gunplay than Call of Duty. Additionally, it offers tons of customization options to keep you playing. However, you will have to grind to get the weapons you like. All parts require unlocking through play. Each weapon also needed to be leveled up to earn its modes individually.

Players will also find the current map selection a bit lacking compared to the maps in Battlefield 4. There is also no environmental destruction, and there aren't planes, helicopters, and boats that you can use. However, the biggest issue is the difficulty connecting to a match. Bugs were also common, including distortion or dropping out of the sound or your character teleporting to odd locations.
